GUIDE

Can SVG export to JPG or WEBP?

Short answer: Yes. Besides default PNG, Svgpix can export JPG / WEBP. JPG has no alpha—keep PNG for cutouts. Rendering finishes in the browser; originals are not uploaded for conversion. Vector→raster stays in Svgpix; further bitmap shrink goes to BulkCrunch.

1. When JPG / WEBP fits

Poster-like art, solid backdrops, email, or channels that ignore transparency—and you do not need alpha. WEBP is often smaller on modern web (qualitative, no invented percentages); confirm support first.

2. Transparency caveats

JPG exports fill white under the draw; soft edges land on white. Icons and UI stay on PNG by default. Size modes: scale/width/DPR.
